Whale Warriors
Crew members Amber Paarman and Peter Hammarstedt, from left, point to a blinking light sighted on the horizon from the M/Y Steve Irwin's bridge on Tuesday, Jan, 6, 2009 in the Southern Ocean. The light turned out to be a Japanese whaling ship searching for a crew member lost overboard in icy waters. When Sea Shepherd offered assistance in the search, the whaling fleet refused, saying it "didn't need help from eco-terrorists".
